Divine Mercy

It is the Lord’s mercy that compels Him to come to us—
to respond to our stubbornness in love,
to make up for our lack of faith,
to lift us up when we fall,
to console us in our failures, saying “it is alright,”
and to wipe away our sins through the sacrament of repentance.

Those who have received immeasurable mercy from the Lord
are bound to show mercy to others as well.
Only then does the One who is our Teacher and Master
truly become our Lord and our God.
